The numerous tests done with our customers over the last five years on the impact of wood origin during aging enabled us in 2005 to produce a limited quantity of barrels that we named “Premium Series®”.

These barrels have their own very distinctive style and the results obtained with the 2006 vintage confirm the excellence of 2005 wines.

This barrel is made from a blend of Tronçais and Bertranges oak and is dried for 40 months.

A very specific toasting has a very low aromatic impact on the wine bringing out its fat, density and sucrosity as well as its rich, silky structure.

For vintage 2007, 320 units of 225 liters are available.
